GHAZIABAD: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probing the Noida double murders was on Monday given four days more to interrogate Krishna, who worked as a compounder in Aarushi's dentist father Rajesh Talwar’s clinic.
The CBI sought four days custody of Krishna after his six-day custody ended on Monday and he was produced before the court.
The agency had arrested Krishna on June 13, saying he had confessed to his involvement in the murder of Aarushi and the Talwar family's domestic help Hemraj.
The agency has questioned a number of people but is nowhere near zeroing in the motive for the crime.
Aarushi, 14, was found murdered in her sector-25 Jal Vayu Vihar apartment in Noida on May 16. The police initially named her family's domestic help Hemraj as the prime accused but backtracked when his body was found on the roof of the building the next day. Aarushi's father Rajesh Talwar has been in police custody since May 23.
